Step 2: Arrival and Walking Directions

Your driver will drop you off at the 100 Year Building.
Walk up the large staircase.
At the top, continue straight. You will see a large reflective ball / water fountain on your right.
The International Reception Center is just ahead, on your left next to the staircase.

Step 1: Set Your Destination

In the Grab app, copy and paste: “100 Year Khunyai Achanmaha Rattana Ubasikkachan Khonnokyung Building” (Referred to by most as: “100 Year Building”)
Please do not search for “Dhammakaya temple,” because that will take you to the main gate which is the wrong destination.

By Personal Vehicle

If you would like to take a personal vehicle to the reception center, you can click on the red pin in the google maps window and follow your phone’s navigation. When you arrive, there is a covered parking lot that is most easily accessed by entering entrance 2 which (if you are approaching from gate 5) will be the entrance on your left immediately before the large staircase. Keep left to enter the first level lot, take a visitor’s pass from the guard, and find a place to park. You can use the elevator closest to that entrance to go up to the reception center or the Pañña room, or you can walk through the glass doors near the guard to head towards the Hochan. There is also a parking lot closer to the Hochan if you prefer to park there. Check pictures below for reference.

Pañña Room & Dining Hall

By Grab or Personal Vehicle

• Meditate at the Pañña Room:

From the top of the main staircase, of the 100 year building turn left. Walk past the donation room and bathrooms. The alley on your right leads to the meditation room. If coming from the parking garage, once you exit the elevators, the room will be on your right.

• Go to the Dining Hall:

Ask your driver to stop about 100 meters before the 100 Year Building (at the statue area near Gate 5). This is where you can make offerings and have lunch as explained here. There is extra parking directly in front of the dining hall if you are driving your personal vehicle and don’t want to walk from the parking garage referenced above.

Chapel, Island Cetiya, & Khun Yai Memorial Hall

These sites are located just down the road and to the left from the 100 year building. Unfortunately, this destination is a bit hard to find on grab, but if you copy and paste “100 Year Khunyai Achanmaha Rattana Ubasikkachan Khonnokyung Building” you will be able to see the destination named “Chapel” above and to the right. Select this as your destination. Use the pin on the map if coming by personal vehicle. We recommend coming from gate 5 (from the left on the map) since gate 4 is often locked. Once you turn left from the road that the 100 year building is on, you will continue straight until you run into the chapel. There is parking on the left if you want to visit the chapel or pagoda. If you would like to visit the Khun Yai Memorial Hall, turn right and follow the road all the way around the outside of the chapel until it brings you to a parking area in front of Khun Yai Memorial Hall.

Memorial Hall of Phramongkolthepmuni

If you would like to arrive by grab, simply copy and paste “Phramongkol Thepmuni Maha Vihara” into the destination of your app. Please use the pin to the left if you would like to arrive by personal vehicle. After entering the roundabout at the front gate of the temple, turn right and then take your first left. You will see plenty of parking on the left hand side where the memorial hall is situated. From the parking lot, you can walk towards the hall amongst the the tall pine trees on the right hand side of the hall. Once you pass the bathrooms, there will be tents where our volunteers will distribute umbrellas for you to borrow to protect from sun or rain. Feel free to then make your way towards the hall, take off your shoes, and enter the meditation hall. Click for hours of operation.

Dhammakaya Cetiya & Great Assembly Hall

If you would like to visit the Dhammakaya Cetiya or the Great Assembly Hall during one of the ceremonies, a suitable spot to navigate to is Core 32 which will put you directly at a covered walkway where you can conveniently access either spot. The pin on the map will take you directly there by personal vehicle, but if you are taking a grab, simply copy and paste “Maha Ratna Vihara Kot Core 32” into your destination. There is plenty of parking that you will see upon arrival.
